About Me.

James Rooney began his Construction journey with his father at the age of 14. What started out as a goal to earn some pocket money led him on the path to his eventual professional career. He began as a laborer and worked his way up the ranks through Site Technician / Engineer, Assistant Site Manager, Quantity Surveyor / Estimator, General Superintendent, Senior Construction Management & Operations. He obtained his Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management & Quantity Surveying with First Class Honors. During his five years at University in Galway Ireland, he worked his weekends and vacations on site to pay for his education. This gave him invaluable exposure to all elements required to see a   successful construction project from inception to final punch list and handover including Hands on experience with every trade required to build it. Over the past 25+ years he has worked in virtually every sector of Construction. From Residential to Commercial to new build and has been involved in the construction of Private Family homes, multi-family large volume housing estates, Schools, Hospitals, warehouses, Sports Facilities, High-End Office Space and multi-story out of the ground high rise construction. Project values ranging from 500k to 250 million.

(280,000K Sq. Ft.) Fifteen (15) floors – High end office build out with additional Penthouse floor add and New Out of ground Sound Studio, Food Network & TV Production spaces.

High end Private Educational Facility at 156 William Street
(60,000 Sq. Ft.) Four (4) floors – High end build out incl. major foundation and structural rework to allow for column removals from base of building to allow for the construction of a Gymnasium.
